Welcome! I'm happy you are here.

Let's face it - Life is messy! And at certain moments, it can feel incredibly lonely.

Maybe you're a woman in midlife questioning everything. Maybe you're a burned-out caregiver trying to support someone you love while carrying your own grief. Perhaps your child was recently diagnosed with autism or a disability, and you're trying to figure out what comes next. Maybe you're facing a chronic or serious illness — or you're sandwiched between aging parents and growing kids, stretched so thin you've lost yourself somewhere in the middle. And if you're a man quietly carrying the weight of caregiving or loss — wondering if therapy is even "for you" — you're welcome here too.

Whatever brings you here, you've been holding a lot. You don't have to keep doing it alone.

Therapy offers a space to slow down, reconnect with what matters most, and move through life's hardest chapters with greater clarity, self-compassion, and purpose. I'd be honored to walk alongside you.

Meet Diane Dawson, MSS, LCSW

With more than 25 years of experience in clinical social work, I have had the privilege of sitting with people through some of life's most difficult and uncertain moments — and I don't take that lightly.

My background spans community mental health, medical, and family-centered settings. I have extensive experience working with individuals facing chronic and terminal illness, and the people who love and care for them — helping navigate grief, anticipatory loss, anxiety, and the quiet weight that builds when you're holding so much for so long. More recently, my work has deepened to include children and adults with disabilities and their families, and I have a profound respect for the resilience I witness within each family system.

I hold a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology with a certification in Gerontology from Duquesne University, and a Master of Social Service from Bryn Mawr College. I have been a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in Pennsylvania since 2008 and hold an advanced certification in Palliative and Hospice Social Work. I am also a Medicare provider.

My approach is grounded, compassionate, and collaborative. Whatever you are carrying, my goal is simple: to make sure you don't have to carry it alone.
